There always seem to be a certain allure about single malts partially matured in rums casks. In this case, the spirit only spent a year in the rums cask. Not the most expressive rum cask whisky I've seen, moderate length, medium weight and tastes quite young and feisty. There's tropical fruit flavours, mild rums notes with a hint of dark chocolate and oakey toffee that make it quite tasty.
